Job requirements
What you’ll do:
You’ll contribute to the algorithms development for our platform
Implement and design algorithms and AI systems in the fields of time-series forecasting, planning and controls, and user interaction.
Design evaluation procedures and collect benchmark data to evaluate and track performance of algorithms
Deploy production-ready algorithms to our cloud environment
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a Research Engineer, who has experience in the following areas:
Must-Haves:
3+ years of hands-on experience with Machine Learning, AI, and/or control systems.
Either PhD-level research experience or significant contributions to commercial AI systems.
Proficiency in AI for time-series data and predictive analytics.
Experience with classic (linear) optimisation algorithms
Experience with or at least exposure to “modern” AI (LLM etc.)
Strong software engineering skills (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team.
A proactive “get things done” mindset—eager to ship fast and iterate.
Bonus Points:
Experience with control systems.
Familiarity with IoT APIs and smart home devices.
Passion for energy tech, electrification, and home automation.
